SCHOLARSHIP UPDATES: SURE-FIRE STEPS TO GETTING YOUR DREAM SCHOLARSHIP

Yes guys you need to understand the nitty-gritty of Scholarships so you can always have leverage and stand a better chance of being short-listed.
The following points have however been put together for you to serve as a sure-fire guide.
1. Understand the Nature of the Scholarship:
Having a clear understanding of what the scholarship is all about is important. You must know if it was a grant, bursary, essay contest or a scholarship. Then you need to have an idea of who the targeted applicants should be and lastly the organizers e.g. is it a Mobil scholarship or LNG annual scholarship etc? Or is it meant for fresh students or students of all levels? This will be able to lead you on to the requirements and the mode of application for the scholarship.
2. Understand the timing and deadline:
Getting and applying right on time for scholarships or a contest is of paramount importance. This is because most scholarships have relatively short application deadlines and I am sure you don’t want to be the one to disqualify yourself by submitting a late entry. So if you must apply why not do so in time. Submitting your entry about one or two weeks to the deadline isn’t a bad idea after all as this will afford you ample time to do all needed research and a timely delivery of your mail if it has to be sent by post.
3. Follow all the given instructions:
Instructions and guide lines are always given to every applicant. Be sure to read in between the lines and follow them as strictly as possible, you will always be happy for it.
4.Plan and Prepare: So many scholarship might require you write an aptitude test or exam after you have been shortlisted so why not always pick up your GMAT, current affairs booklet and as much information you can glean about the company or organizing body.
5. Pray and be Positive: I so much believe in the efficacy of prayer. Having done all that needs be done commit every thing to God and Commit all into God’s able hands and one more thing never forget to watch out for the result in good faith.
So always be sure to apply all the useful tips shared above and you will end up cranking your next scholarship or contest. I wish you success.
