Federal Government of Nigeria Postgraduate & Undergraduate Scholarship Awards 2012/2013

The Honorable Minister of Education, Prof. (Mrs.) Ruqayatu Ahmed Rufai hereby invites applicants from qualified Nigerian students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions to participate in the 2012/2013 selection interviews for scholarship awards tenable in Nigeria tertiary institutions.

Federal Government of Nigeria Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarship Awards 2012/2013

Eligibility

1.) Undergraduate, HND & NCE Scholarship

All applicants should be registered full–time students in their second year or above in recognized Federal and State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education. They should also obtain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 on a 5 point scale, or its equivalent in the previous academic year’s examinations.

2.) Postgraduate Scholarship

Applicants must be registered full–time students of recognized Federal and State owned universities and must have a minimum of second class Honors (upper division) in 1st degrees.

General Information

Duly completed application forms should be submitted at the various interview centers. Completed application forms should be accompanied with

Photocopies of: Letter of admission to the institution, Current Course Registration Form and Student Identity Card

Two passport –size photographs with name fully written at the back

Method of Application

Application forms are available online at www.fsb.gov.ng and wich should be filled and printed by prospective candidates for endorsement by their HOD and Registrars of their institutions.

All qualified candidates who have fully completed the prescribed application forms for the Nigerian Awards scholarship are to attend selection interviews scheduled based on their different geopolitical zones

Application forms that are incorrectly/ incompletely filled or without the necessary documents will not be processed.

All application forms must be duly signed and stamped by the applicants HOD and Registrar.

Candidates are to attend interviews with writing materials such as pen, HB pencil and eraser.

Interview starts by 8:00am daily.

Indomie National Post Graduate Nutrition Scholarship Awards 2013

Dufill Prima Foods Plc - As part of its corporate social responsibilities, Dufill Prima Foods Plc is continuing the Scholarship programme for Nigerian students studying Nutrition and Dietetics at Post-graduate Degree level. The programme aims to assist in the training of high level Nutrition and Dietetic manpower in the country It is hoped that over a period of time this will produce a critical mass of highly trained nutritionists that will continue to sustainably chart and guide the way for optimum nutrition for all Nigerians.

The programme is currently based in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (UNAAB).

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to all Nigerian students qualified for admission to M. Sc. Programme in Nutrition (and Nutrition and Dietetics) in the Nigerian University System.

Awards will be made to qualified and suitable students from every geopolitical zone of the Federation including the FCT.

The management of Shell Petroleum Company of Nigeria (SPDC) is happy to tell you that the 4th annual Postgraduate scholarship scheme from people with first degree who hail from Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta State is currently on.
