Applicants are invited for Andela Nigeria Fellowship Cycle XXVI. This fellowship is open to Nigerian applicants to pursue technical leadership programme.

The aim of this fellowship is designed to shape you into an elite software developer and challenge yourself to constantly improve personally and professionally throughout the four years of the Fellowship.

How to Apply: Applicants can apply online:

Stage 1: Application and Aptitude Assessment

• First, you’ll complete a free application, which lets us learn more about you. Once we receive your application, we’ll email you an online test that measures logical reasoning and personality fit.

Stage 2: Home Study

• Then you’ll need to complete an introduction to software development self-study course focused on Python. You can find the downloadable version of this course here. During the course, you’ll complete a technical test that will evaluate your knowledge of the content you’ve learned.

Stage 3: In-Person Interview

• Based on performance on the Aptitude Assessment and Technical test, we invite a select group of applicants to interview with Andela. If selected, you’ll receive an email 1 week prior to the interview stage, inviting you to a panel of interviews made up of staff members and software developers at Andela.

Stage 4: Two-Week Boot Camp

• Successful applicants participate in a two-week, full-time Boot Camp at an Andela Campus led by our senior developers. You’ll be expected to learn independently as well as work on a team to deliver a final project. We’re looking for work ethic, passion, and teamwork.

Stage 5: Acceptance

• The highest performing participants are accepted into Andela’s four-year Technical Leadership Program.

In 2017, NWAG plans to award 37 one-time scholarships, one per state of origin as well as one for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in the amount of fifty thousand Naira (N50,000) each, to Nigerian female, undergraduate students in Nigerian universities.
Worth of Scholarship: Fifty thousand naira (N50,000) each
Requirements: An applicant must be a Nigerian female, undergraduate student in a Nigerian University. All applications must include the following:
Proof of State of Origin – Letter of Origination from the university or a letter from your local government office.
Two Letters of Recommendation from any two of the following: Church Pastor/Mosque Imam, Village Head, Local Government Chairperson or one of your Lecturers.
One Letter of Recommendation from either the Dean of your Faculty/School or your Head of Department.
Photocopy of your current university student identification card
A current photograph of yourself
An explanation of why you need and should receive the scholarship (not more than one-half typed double spaced page).
A type-written, double –spaced, two-page essay on:
“How has the current inflation and its resultant high cost of living in Nigeria, affected the quality of education in Nigeria?”

OVERVIEW

Star Deep Water Petroleum Limited, a Chevron company and operator of the Agbami Field, in its continuous support for capacity building in the Health and Engineering sectors as a strategic feed into the national manpower pool, is offering a number of University Scholarships to qualified Nigerian students from ALL states of the Federation.

The scholarship program, funded by Star Deep and its Agbami partners, is a major component of the Agbami partners' Social Investment in the strategic development of Health and Education in Nigeria and the Niger Delta in particular.

REQUIREMENTS/ELIGIBILITY

Applications are invited from FULL-TIME, 100 and 200 level undergraduates from any state of the Federation, studying any of the under listed courses in universities within Nigeria:

Medicine/Surgery
Dentistry
Pharmacy
Engineering

1. Before you start this application, ensure you have clear scanned copies of the following documents

Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
School ID card
Admission letter
Birth certificate
O' Level result
JAMB Result

2. Ensure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents during upload
3. Ensure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload


To apply, follow the procedures below:

5. Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.

8. Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to eliminate errors during uploading.
9. When asked to upload photo, upload a pass-port photograph with a white background.
10. Recheck application information to avoid errors
11. Click "Apply Now" to submit information
12. You will receive an email and a sms that confirms your application was successful.
13. Return to www.scholastica.ng, enter your Email and Password to download your profile and proceed to have your Head of Department sign the document.
14. Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile, this would be used for verification.
15. If National Identification Number (NIN) number was not available in step 6, to obtain your National Identification Number (NIN)
Visit http://ninenrol.gov.ng to register and learn more about the National Identity Number
Click "Create Account" and fill in the required fields
Login with Email and Password to complete the form
After completion, schedule a date for photo and finger print capture
Visit any of the 37 capture centres www.nimc.gov.ng/pages/general/enrolmentcentres.htm to complete the registration process and obtain your National Identity Number
You can also do your total registration at the NIMC office
16. Return to www.scholastica.ng/Schemes/Agbami and update application with National Identification Number (NIN) to ensure completion

Note: Multiple applications attract a disqualification penalty from the Scholarship board
